Filipinos Being Resilient

 Filipinos are known for being strong and resilient in situations such as encountering typhoons and earthquakes. Philippines is one of the most vulnerable countries to climate-related disasters according to undp.org. Filipinos often get hit by strong typhoons, leaving a massive amount of destroyed buildings etc. For example according to undp.org, the country got struck by typhoon Odette, Odette was the 15th typhoon to hit the Philippines in the year 2021 and by far the most strongest. Typhoon Odette was a category 5 super typhoon that left 7 provinces ruined. It affected more than 8 million Filipinos and left a hundreds of thousands of people displaced without shelter, access to food clean water and connectivity.


Because of typhoon Odette, a lot of Filipinos was affected, it caused them their houses, crops and properties ruined. But despite the affects of typhoon Odette, Filipinos got back on their feet and continue to work for their lives. They've given support from their local government to help them start for a new chapter of their lives. Many houses was destroyed but Filipinos didn't give up, instead they become stronger for their families and selves. Temporary shelters and repair kits to rebuild their homes was provided for the people who was affected by the typhoon.



In conclusion, despite of the challenges like typhoon Odette, Filipinos will remain strong and resilient. Filipinos will continue to work hard and to be strong for their lives and families. Filipinos will always chose to get back on their feet instead of giving up. Despite of all the consequences, Filipinos will continue to strive and to be better to have a new chapter of their lives. Even though a lot of challenges are given into our lives, we will always chose to get back on our feet and work hard to rebuild or to get back what we've lost.

My 2nd Quarter.

 My experiences in quarter 2 is much better than last quarter 1. I can say that my Quarter 2 is very good since I got to know more about my classmates, we bond all together, we all laugh together and we usually talk and communicate each other.  I got to learn new lessons and I got to participate in the class more than the quarter 1. I can say that I got higher scores than quarter 1, and I can say that I improved little bit, and I hope to learn more and to be more open to the class and I hope that I can improve my performance more this 3rd quarter.  We got more comfortable to our teachers and we had more fun and laughter, we also bonded more that the 1st quarter. We learned more lessons and life lessons from them and we hope that we will bond and get to know more on the 3rd quarter. The Best Day In Junior High School

 In many schools across the world, High School Day festivities are an essential component of the academic calendar. They provide students with an opportunity to gather together and mark their journey through secondary education. These gatherings frequently feature a variety of games and celebrations meant to promote school spirit, friendship, and lifelong memories. Ilocos Sur National High School just celebrated it's 122nd High School Day last March 8 of 2024. A lot of fun activities happened just like the field demonstration, where all the junior high school students from grade 7 to grade 10 did a dance performance in front of the judges and to fellow students. There's also a concert, wherein teachers and fellow students performed.
