It's Valentine's!

Image
Valentine's Day, celebrated on February 14th each year, is a time-honored tradition for expressing love and affection. Originating from ancient Roman rituals, it evolved into a celebration of romantic love during the Middle Ages. Today, it's a global phenomenon marked by exchanging gifts, cards, and gestures of love. Couples often indulge in romantic dinners, heartfelt expressions, and intimate moments to commemorate their bond. The holiday isn't limited to romantic partnerships; it's also an opportunity for friends and family to show appreciation for one another. Many people send cards or small tokens of affection to friends, coworkers, and loved ones, making it a day of spreading love and kindness beyond romantic relationships. In schools, children exchange valentines with classmates, fostering a sense of camaraderie and friendship. Friendship: With classmates: However, Valentine's Day isn't without its critiques, with some arguing it's become overly comm...

The Present Beach.

Image
Going to the beach is one of the things I do to reduce my stress. While I am enjoying the view in the Sta. Catalina Beach I notice that a lot of things changed. There were now buildings near, they were now building another structure to improve the beach and there were random small paths built near the beach. There were also stalls that sells iced coffees, milk teas and different foods. And that made me think, how's this beach looks like before all this thing's happened? What was it's history?  Regardless of the innovation that the government did, the popular view is still there and that is what the people love and the reason why they love to go there. Student-preneurs.

Image
"Estudyantepreneurs" refers to students who are also entrepreneurs, combining their academic pursuits with entrepreneurial ventures. This concept highlights the growing trend of students engaging in business activities while still in school, leveraging their skills, knowledge, and resources to create and manage businesses. Estudyantepreneurs is an event held by the TLE department last February 19 of the current year. This activity gave the students to experience to be entrepreneurs and to make business with their fellow students. There are a lot of food products displayed in this activity. There are also some educational online games that you can play for free. And there was also a service of free massage to people, and lastly there was also a film viewing that was very worth the price. In conclusion, estudyantepreneurship represents a unique intersection of education and entrepreneurship, offering students valuable learning experiences, financial independence, and networkin...

The Best Day In Junior High School

Image
In many schools across the world, High School Day festivities are an essential component of the academic calendar. They provide students with an opportunity to gather together and mark their journey through secondary education. These gatherings frequently feature a variety of games and celebrations meant to promote school spirit, friendship, and lifelong memories. Ilocos Sur National High School just celebrated it's 122nd High School Day last March 8 of 2024. A lot of fun activities happened just like the field demonstration, where all the junior high school students from grade 7 to grade 10 did a dance performance in front of the judges and to fellow students. There's also a concert, wherein teachers and fellow students performed. It was very memorable and it was the best day in my junior year.  All things considered, High School Day events represent the pinnacle of the high school education, uniting students, teachers, and staff in a celebration of accomplishments, the form...

Thank You 3rd Quarter!

Image
Quarter 3 is now coming to an end, and this quarter gave me a lot of challenges, challenges that really challenged me the whole quarter. Challenges that almost made me quit, challenges that made me cry, and couldn't get me to sleep. But I'm so thankful that I overcome this challenges and gave me an inspiration to work harder and to not quit. And for that I can say that I really improved a lot.  Are you sure that you improved? Yes, I did, thank you to my classmates and teachers, who always encourages me/us to participate and to try my/our best everyday, and I did improved a lot, because now I'm more comfortable sharing my thoughts to the class, I'm now more comfortable talking in front of the class, I'm now more open to my mistakes too as well, and I'm participating in the class more than the last quarter, and now I'm comfortable talking to my classmates, we helped each other, we communicate with the lessons and we are more open to our mistakes. And now tha...
